Expand/Collapse Item Q: What is the cut-off time if I need an in-stock product shipped overnight?

For inventory located in Denver, our cut-off time is 2:00 p.m. Mountain Standard Time. For inventory located in Miami, our cut-off time is noon Eastern Standard Time.

Expand/Collapse ItemQ: Will I be able to buy everything my business needs from AmeriMed?

Right now, our focus at AmeriMed is to be able to provide our customers with products at the lowest possible prices. We carry the items where we can save your business the most money. While not every item is available to us at discounted prices, our current customers will tell you that it is well worth utilizing the purchasing power of AmeriMed for many commonly used products. We won't fully replace your normal distributor, but we can save you a significant amount of money on the products you purchase from us.

Expand/Collapse ItemQ: What if my company is a member of another buying group?

You may be able to save money with AmeriMed in a number of ways:

 
  1. You can purchase products from AmeriMed that are not on your buying group contracts.
  2. On some items, AmeriMed prices may be less than the prices on your current contracts. If you require assistance, an AmeriMed representative will help you review your contracts, and determine which items we can save you money on.
  3. You can purchase items not on your contract (i.e. from a competitive manufacturer) from AmeriMed to fulfill special requests from your customers.
  4. You are not subject to minimum orders at AmeriMed, and may save money on smaller orders.

This is a perfect opportunity to maximize your profits with the help of AmeriMed. We can design a program with your needs in mind, allowing you to maintain your current relationships with your valued suppliers. We'll help you research the areas where buying from AmeriMed will help you increase your bottom line. We custom tailor a program based on your individual needs. Expand/Collapse ItemQ: Are the products I buy from AmeriMed eligible for manufacturer's rebates?

Because the items you purchase from AmeriMed are already discounted, you are not eligible to file additional rebates from the manufacturer on these items. However, your purchases are tallied at AmeriMed, and our Club Amiermed members receive quarterly incentives.

AmeriMed is a business-to-business wholesale supplier. We are not able to sell to individuals.

Expand/Collapse ItemQ: I have overstock that I would like to sell.

AmeriMed may be able to purchase your overstock. Our "Cash-Out" program was designed for businesses to recoup money from dead stock. Through this program, we match up your overstock with current requirements from our customers. Let us know that you have an interest in our "Cash-Out" program. AmeriMed will also assist you in finding organizations that buy entire lots of overstock for shipment overseas.

Expand/Collapse ItemQ: What can I do with my overstock that no one wants, or that has expired?

Before you consider throwing away your overstock, or paying to dispose of it, please consider donating it to a non-profit organization. While AmeriMed cannot purchase overstock from you that is outdated or expired, in many cases we can direct you to a non-profit agency that may be able to take these products if they meet certain specifications. We recommend you check with your accountant. You may be able to get a tax incentive by donating product to a nonprofit organization, such as the one we support, Project CURE. We are happy to pass any information along about Project CURE.

Expand/Collapse ItemQ: Does AmeriMed sell new or used equipment?

AmeriMed currently does not sell equipment, but we partner with companies that do. You may forward any equipment requests to us, and we will refer you to one or more of the companies we work with. In many cases, for international sales, we can work with your equipment suppliers in putting together a full container for you, thereby saving you extra freight charges.

Please feel free to call during our office hours to talk to our customer service specialist. You may also request to receive a weekly inventory update by fax, mail, or email.
