Joseph Chiarella
Operations Manager – Tennessee

Joe is currently the Operations Manager for the Tennessee and Mississippi markets for Amerimed Emergency Medical Services.

Joe graduated from Ramapo Senior High School in Suffern, NY and joined the United States Army during his Junior year of High School at the age of 17. Upon graduation from High School he was stationed in a myriad of locations throughout his career including; Baumholder, Germany; Fort Campbell, KY; Fort Richardson, AK; Camp Doha, Kuwait; Anderson AFB, Guam; Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo and Fort Bragg, NC. He took part in the initial invasion of Iraq while serving as the Medic and Assistant Operations Non-Commissioned Officer for the 101st Long Range Surveillance Detachment. His final duty assignment was with the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne).

He is a graduate of the United States Army; Airborne School, Pathfinder School, Jumpmaster School, John F. Kennedy Joint Special Operations Medical Training Center and United States Marine Corps Chemical and Biological Incident Response Course. His awards include the Army Commendation Medal (3rd award), Army Achievement Medal (3rd award), Good Conduct Medal (4th award), Humanitarian Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Medal, Kosovo Campaign Medal, National Service Ribbon, Armed Service Ribbon, Thailand Airborne Wings, British Airborne Wings, Combat Medical Badge, Aviator Crewmember Badge, Senior Jumpmaster Badge and Pathfinder Badge. He medically retired from the United States Army due to injuries sustained while on active duty. Joe is currently licensed as a Flight Paramedic, National Registry Paramedic and instructor in ACLS, BLS and PALS.

After retirement he continued to work as a Combat Skills Instructor for the 160th selection and training program. He left there to work for The Tier 1 Group as a Senior Lead Instructor to US and foreign Special Operations forces, teaching weapons/tactics, breaching and medical disciplines. Joe spent 4 years with The Tier One Group before moving to Rural/Metro Ambulance as the Mid-South Regional Director. From Rural/Metro he was hired to be the President of Emergency Mobile Healthcare in Cordova, TN. He left EMHC to work for the Dept. of State as a Personal Security Detail instructor in multiple worldwide locations.
Joe believes in a solid work ethic and a strict adherence to a success driven mindset. This mindset is fueled by an indefatigable desire to succeed in whatever environment he finds himself. This ideology and lifestyle are coupled with his Christian faith that inspires him to work in all he does as if working for the Lord.

Joe was born in Rockland County, New York on the 24th of April 1974. He is the youngest of two children with his sister currently residing in West Palm Beach, FL. Joe currently resides in Cordova, TN with his wife Annberly and their two Children, Annalise (12) and son Joey (7).
