Scott serves as the lead in internal and external communications initiatives while also providing oversight to key technology components in the Amerimed organization. In the role he is responsible for assisting all Amerimed associates to better serve patients and partners with tools and technology make better, safer, and more effective communications possible. Excellent information flow and sharing is a vital part of providing the best possible service.

Scott brings to Amerimed a background heavily focused in both communication and customer services.  From 1987 until 2002 Scott worked in radio broadcasting and advertising with companies like NewCity Communications and Cox Radio. Here he developed a strong  knowledge of creativity, advertising, marketing, and ensuring that everyone is able to get the information they need – whether outside the company or within, by linking working teams using the best available technology in the industry.

In 2002, Scott transitioned into the hospitality industry where customer focus was always a tope priority.  With companies like Atlanta’s Fifth Group Restaurants, Scott was able to leads teams whose primary focus was bringing joy and satisfaction to every customer. That mindset drives the approach that Scott provides to Amerimed, helping makes sure that we can always deliver an above-average interaction with everyone we meet and serve. 

Since 2015, Scott was principal owner and consultant for Terminus Digital Media. The firm worked with many small and growing business to integrate their web-based and internal software platform to deliver the best results in efficiency, public awareness, and customer growth. Connecting the wide variety of tools into highly functional operating systems is the key focus of successful strategies for his clients.

Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University, as well as an Associates of Applied Arts in Hospitality and Culinary Arts from Culinard in Birmingham, AL. Away from Amerimed, Scott also proudly serves as the VP/Communications and Programs for The Gift of Music Foundation, an Atlanta-based non-profit that provides musical instruments and learning opportunities to kids who cannot otherwise afford them.
